Description
On the spiritual path there are two main parts. One is learning and putting into practice spiritual laws and meditation techniques. The other part is devotional, an offering up of the self with 100% faith and sincerity. This painting is inspired by a phrase spoken by Brother Ananadamoy (from Self Realization Fellowship) in a talk on devotion and meditation when he said, "Launch yourself with abandon into the bliss of God's presence." It's a beautiful idea, isn't it? It's even more wonderful to put into practice. All these parts need to be used together ...the techniques, laws, and devotion. They are essential to each other.
